iCentra Enhances Capacity at PiCNG’s Co-creation Session for the Nigerian Gas Vehicle Monitoring System (NGVMS)

The Presidential Initiative on Compressed Natural Gas Limited (PiCNG) hosted a co-creation session focused on Nigeria’s Gas Vehicle Monitoring System (NGVMS) in Abuja on the 4th of June, 2023.  The collaborative effort brought together top executives from regulatory agencies and industry leaders to enhance the NGVMS, the technology platform initiated by PiCNG to manage the gas ecosystem in Nigeria. The session underscored Nigeria’s commitment to leveraging gas as a cornerstone of its energy future, addressing the challenges and opportunities in transitioning to a gas-focused economy.

PiCNG headed by Engr. Micheal  Oluwagbemi, Program Director & CEO, alongside key stakeholders such as the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA), the National Automotive Design and Development Council (NADDC), the Standards Organization of Nigeria (SON), and the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), participated at the co-creation session to provide a robust framework and sustainable system for CNG and other gas-powered vehicle s in Nigeria. And address the challenges and opportunities in Nigeria’s transition to a gas-focused future.
