iCentra Delivers InnTech Summit 2025, Reaffirms Commitment to Africa’s Digital Transformation

iCentra, a leading global technology and business transformation company, successfully concluded the 2025 edition of the InnTech Summit—Africa’s flagship platform for innovation, digital policy dialogue, and sustainable technology adoption. The Summit brought together leaders from government, industry, and the innovation ecosystem, amplifying iCentra’s long-standing mission to drive responsible technology advancement across the continent.

The one-day event convened 300+ participants and 28 global experts, delivering high-impact insights through keynote speeches, fireside conversations, and panel sessions focused on AI, data governance, cybersecurity, sustainability, and the future of Africa’s digital economy.

Speaking at the opening session, Taopheek Babayeju, CEO of iCentra and Convener of InnTech, emphasized that the Summit was designed to bridge a critical gap in Africa’s tech discourse—the intersection of innovation and sustainability. He noted that while AI and digital technologies are transforming economies, it is essential for Africa to build frameworks that ensure ethical, inclusive, and environmentally sustainable adoption.

“Africa is the world’s fastest-growing digital economy, but growth alone is not enough,” Babayeju said. “We must build a future where innovation aligns with sustainability, governance, and opportunity for all. InnTech is our platform to push that conversation forward.”

A major milestone from this year’s Summit was the unveiling of Green Digital Africa, an initiative spearheaded by iCentra to champion a green-digital transformation across the continent. Developed in collaboration with multi-sector partners, the initiative aims to support policy alignment, accelerate innovation, and expand digital skills and climate-conscious technology deployment.

Recognizing the rapid rise of AI adoption across Africa, speakers reiterated the need for expanded digital literacy, cybersecurity capacity, and governance frameworks that protect users while enabling innovation. Key discussions also centered on the importance of public-private partnerships, an area where iCentra continues to play a leadership role through its consulting, advisory, and transformation programs.

Reflecting on the success of the event, Babayeju applauded partners and speakers for contributing to actionable dialogue, stressing that InnTech is not “just an event” but a catalytic platform for long-term collaboration.

To expand the global footprint of the platform, iCentra announced two new editions:

  • InnTech Dallas — Summer 2026, and
  • InnTech Africa — November 2026

These expansions reinforce iCentra’s ambition to connect global innovation ecosystems and position Africa as a strategic player in the global digital economy.

As iCentra continues its work across enterprise transformation, digital governance, and sustainable innovation, the InnTech Summit remains its signature platform for shaping the future of technology on the continent.
