We are seeking an IT Support – Computer Engineer (NYSC) to provide technical assistance, troubleshoot hardware/software issues, and ensure the smooth operation of all IT-related functions in the organization. The successful candidate will work closely with the IT team and provide first-line support to staff across departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, networks, and printers.
- Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and resolving hardware/software faults.
- Provide technical support to staff, both remotely and on-site
- Set up new users’ accounts and deal with password issues.
- Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems.
- Monitor IT systems to detect potential issues and escalate when necessary.
- Maintain documentation of processes, system configurations, and technical issues.
Requirements:
- Currently serving as a NYSC corps member
- Background in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
- Strong understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products
- Good problem-solving and communication skills
- Basic knowledge of networking and IT security principles
