Akin Oparison is an accomplished leadership development and organizational performance expert with over 30 years experience in blue-chip multinational companies.

As a management consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers, Akin worked on a wide range of assignments including Organizational development and change management interventions, executive resourcing, performance and talent management in private-sector organizations ranging from FMCG companies, financial service organizations, banks, pharmaceutical companies, as well as public-sector client organizations.

Dr. Oparison was HR Vice President for over seven years at Shell’s Downstream Business in Africa, a member of the Executive Management Team for Shell Oil Products Africa, and the Shell Downstream Global HR Leadership team based in Johannesburg, South Africa.

He also held senior executive HR positions in Sterling Winthrop and British American Tobacco, which have seen him working in Nigeria, Ghana, Cameroon, Kenya, Russia and South Africa.

Dr Oparison is a senior fellow at Lagos Business School, he holds master’s degree and Doctorate in Business Policy and Organizational Development from the University of Wales, Cardiff.
