The Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) recently marked Information Security Week, an annual event dedicated to raising cybersecurity and data protection awareness. This year’s celebration was particularly significant as it coincided with the organization’s achievement of ISO 27001:2022 recertification.
Early this year, FIRS transitioned to the ISO 27001:2013 standard and has now successfully secured recertification under the latest 2022 standard. This milestone underscores FIRS’s commitment to maintaining the highest information security standards.
