No project exists without a project manager. The knowledge of project management is the beginning of achieving strategic and time bound deliverables. Understanding this crux, FIRS recognised the need to equip its project staff with this knowledge.
The three weeks intensive project management career path training which was delivered by iCentra Academy, the learning unit of iCentra Consulting, took place at FIRS Training School and covered all the knowledge areas of Project Management, as well as hands-on workshop. The various facilitators brought in their years of experience and expertise in project management to bare. Participants’ testified to facilitators’ wealth of knowledge and ability to impact. And to test the level of participant’s comprehension during the training, a mock exam was administered. The outcome proved the training was impactful, and fruitful.
At the end of the workshop, certificates were issued and Mrs Adaku Ngama gave a vote of thanks on behalf of other participants. She expressed her gratitude to the Chairman of FIRS, Mr. William Babatunde Fowler; the entire Career and Skills Department of FIRS and iCentra for putting together an insightful programme.
