“The fastest way to change society is to mobilise the women of the world.” – Charles Malik
The International Women’s Day is an annual global celebration held in honor of women all over the world irrespective of their age and class to commemorate the social, economic, cultural and political achievement of women around the world. It is also a day to remember the struggles women face and honor the accomplishments they have made.
As an equal opportunity employer, who focuses more on individuality, productivity and outputs, we celebrate women all over the world contributing to the growth of businesses, families and the society as a whole. Today we celebrate our very own Nigerian women who despite the cultural and political prejudice keep forging on and building remarkable lives for themselves.
Our team at iCentra consists of women who have carved a niche for themselves and proven over and over in a society that is characterized by so much bias against the female gender that with determination, hardwork, diligence and constant self-development there is no limit to what can be achieved as individuals irrespective of gender.
Here are a few of the extremely resourceful and extraordinary women on the iCentra team as they share their International Women’s Day- iCentra Experience
As a woman, mother and wife, working at iCentra has been rather inspirational. Generally, women worry about work-life balance due to demands from the home front and work place. We are careful not to fall short at any which can be pretty overwhelming. This has not been the situation working here at iCentra.
I simply enjoy my work. iCentra cares for me and all that makes work non stressful. I am inspired to plan my career development and attain the best I can be seeing no barriers but doors.
I experience no occupational stress nor difficulties. As the Head of Admin & HR, it’s quite obvious that the management is always willing to invest in developing a happy and highly motivated team of innovative achievers. That’s a great reason to be excited about being a part of the team! I dare say that I’m better now than I started off with the company and I know it will only get better because I am inspired and I am iCentric…

The Success of a team they say comes from it’s leadership. iCentra as an equal opportunity employer has given me room to utilise every acquired and innate skill. It has been a terrific journey all the way because the iCentra team celebrates, acknowledges, challenges and nurtures the gifts of it’s women. I am being challenged every time to be the best in an environment that acknowledges my responsibilities as a wife and mother. iCentra is a great place to work, that’s my vote and things can only get better.

The acquisition of information they say brings about knowledge on a subject matter and it is believed that knowledge is power. The iCentra experience for me as a lady has been very intriguing. iCentra has given the opportunity to acquire knowledge during my Internship programme which ranges from soft skills to project management as well as team building abilities. I must say it has been a privilege to be part of an organisation that is indifferent regarding gender and tribe and also rewards ‘’working smart’’ and effective result when necessary.
